Unhooked uses the information needed to provide your resources, support purchases, and respect your choices. Optional analytics and marketing are separate choices. You can use the shop and download resources without agreeing to either.

We do not collect relationship stories or health details through these forms. Card information is handled by Stripe when payments are connected; we do not store card details. We do not use automated decisions or profiling to determine your eligibility for a service.

Optional analytics are off until you actively accept. “Reject analytics” leaves the essential functions available. The Cookie settings link in the footer lets you withdraw or change consent as easily as you gave it.

Owner sign-in uses the hosting platform’s authentication cookies. Stripe’s hosted checkout has its own necessary payment and security technologies. We do not load advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts.

What the visitor graph counts

The graph includes only browsers that accepted analytics. We store no raw IP addresses, device fingerprints or full referrer URLs in analytics. We accept only short campaign labels (source, medium and campaign) from approved URL parameters. With analytics consent, a random browser identifier is linked to the order to measure purchases; this link is removed after 30 days or when you withdraw consent. Signed-in owner visits, private download URLs and owner pages are excluded. Verified purchases are recorded on the server, not from an unverified browser event. If you withdraw consent, we stop new counts and remove this browser’s recent analytics records.

How long information stays

Analytics use a rolling 30-day window. Cookie-choice records are retained for up to 180 days from a choice. Expired records are excluded from use, with deletion performed during routine website and dashboard requests. Completed privacy-request records are removed after 90 days through the same process.

Resource sessions expire after 90 days. Free-sheet and purchase email links normally expire after seven days; links on the purchase confirmation page expire after 48 hours. We keep signup and marketing records while needed to provide requested resources and manage your ongoing preferences; you may request deletion or withdraw marketing permission. A minimal unsubscribe record may be kept to avoid contacting you again. Purchase records may need to be retained for support and the merchant’s applicable accounting or legal obligations. A deletion request is reviewed separately from those obligations.

Services involved

OpenAI Sites hosts this website using Cloudflare-backed database and file storage. Stripe processes payments and Resend delivers requested purchase emails. Our private FireTrack Studio receives aggregate visitor, click, purchase and revenue counts for the Unhooked brand; it does not receive customer emails or private download links. We share only information needed for those services. Your email list is not sold.

These services may process information outside the EEA. Applicable provider terms, data-processing agreements, and transfer mechanisms must govern those transfers; contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your information. We do not promise that all data stays in a particular country.

Your rights and choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your information, and object where processing relies on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We normally respond within one month. If a permitted extension is needed, we will explain it. We may verify identity before disclosing or deleting records.

Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email for immediate withdrawal, or contact us. Cookie settings control analytics separately. You can complain to Datatilsynet or your local data protection authority.
